The name "Hareed," meaning "rain" in Somali, symbolized the nourishment and growth he aimed to cultivate within our community through his beloved bookstore.
For years, my father tirelessly ran the shop, embodying his vision of providing exceptional customer service and meeting the diverse Islamic book, gift, and resource needs of our community. His warmth, kindness, and unwavering commitment made him a cherished figure, and the bookstore became a beloved staple in the lives of many.
After my father's untimely passing, the responsibility of carrying forward his legacy fell upon my shoulders. Inspired by his vision and driven by my own aspirations, I took the helm of the bookstore with a renewed sense of purpose and determination.
